I would have thought that the usb keyboard would automatically be recognised when the bios post says usb support enabled? Make sure the switch is in the powered mode position. Have to disagree with Colin on this one. See all Show less.

I have tried the bios rescuse disc from intel and it works untill I have to press any key to continue. One without an Earthed D845vgsr and preferably Temperature controlled to something like C.
I have an Intel DGVSR motherboard which I am trying to install xp on, the problem is when I boot it up and try to enter the bios settings I cannot select anything via keyboard it is not working, similarly if I try an boot from rescuse floppy I cannot continue because the keyboard is not active. So maybe the only other option really is to remove the bios chip and re-programme it then?
